What we keep

Your email address so you can log in. Your family name. Your children’s first names or nicknames and the colours you pick for their avatars. Their wish lists, including any toy photos you add. The good things and things to work on you log, and your app settings.

We never ask for surnames, birthdays, schools or photos of children, so please don’t add them.

Why

Only to run the app for your family: the countdown, wish lists, good-things log and letters from Father Christmas. Letters are created on your screen and not stored.

Who can see it

Only the grown-ups in your family you invite. Our hosting providers (Supabase, in London, and Vercel) process it for us. We don’t sell or share data, show adverts, or use analytics or tracking cookies. The only cookie is the one that keeps you logged in.

How long

Everything is deleted on 31 January each year. You can delete your family’s data yourself at any time from the grown-ups area.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Donations

Donations go directly to a children's charity through GoFundMe. We never see your payment details. The donate pages include a GoFundMe widget, which loads from GoFundMe and is covered by their privacy policy.
